He was appointed as acting judge of the High Court from January 2015 to end 2018, he still sits as acting judge when called to do so. His judgment in a criminal matter ended up in the Supreme Court of Appeal as well as in the Constitutional Court where about 11 judges agreed with his judgment in that particular case! His judgment in a civil matter concerning liability for cyber crime fraud was confirmed by the Supreme Court of Appeal but not referred to eo nomine.
